done! was re-certified as a B Company

After a process of more than six months of assessments and validation with B Lab International, we managed to recertify our company as a B Company. Thus, we renewed the commitment we assumed in 2018 when we started the journey to obtain the certification.

Marian Ventura, Founder & CEO @ done!

The certification as a B corporation is an institutional framework that protects our purpose of using creativity to promote the positive impact of organizations on people, socioeconomic development, and the environment. In addition, it implies a commitment to continuous improvement in relation to the social, environmental, and governance impact of the company.

The evaluation process measures and analyzes the five most relevant areas of each company: Governance, Workers, Clients, Community, and Environment, in order to identify strengths and also possible points of improvement and opportunities to be an agent of change in the economy. As a result, in this new cycle, we obtained a total score of 116.9 points, out of the 80 necessary to obtain certification. We are proud of this result, which is 44% higher than the one we obtained in the first certification at the beginning of 2019.

“We love being B Company, being System B and having B Companies as clients such as Limpiolux, GMF Latinoamericana, PSA and matter. Today, I can attest that being B, buying B and selling B is a very good business”, commented Marian Ventura, founder of done!.

How did we achieve it? With consistency, a lot of effort, and heart. Thanks to our team that makes these values a daily practice, which they carry out with responsibility and great pride. And also, thanks to customers, companies, and people in our value chain who value this commitment, and Sistema B that inspires this business movement to create a fairer, more equitable, and regenerative economy.

In the world, the B Movement is made up of more than 5,200 B Companies in more than 150 industries, and with a presence in more than 80 countries. In Latin America, there are already more than 900 Certified B Corps, which together bill 63 billion dollars and employ more than 120,000 people.
